Ingredients
500g Butter
200g Caster/Golden Caster Sugar
500g Plain flour
250g Cornflour/Rice Flour
1 tsp Madagascar Vanilla Bean Paste
Directions
Preheat the oven to 170ºC/fan 160ºC/340ºF/gas mark 3.5 Bake for 15/20 mins
* Cream together the Butter and sugar using your preferred method
* Sift in the flour and cornflour/rice flour gradually mixing as you go
*Knead the mixture until smooth but try not to overwork
*Roll the dough and wrap in clingfilm and refrigerate for 30 minutes
*Roll the dough until it is about 5mm thick and cut using your preferred shapes
*Lay the shapes onto a greased baking sheet and bake for 15/20 minutes
*Once cooked you can either sprinkle with sugar, roll the edges in sugar or coloured sprinkles and allow to cool on a cooling rack.
