There is no better way to welcome spring than to make a flower pot with flowers in it. This is a carrot cake, spice cake, and a snicker doodle cake with chocolate brownies on the top for dirt. the flowers are gumpaste and wafer paper, shared by Simply Cakes.

It's was an 8" vanilla sponge filled with homemade strawberry jam and buttercream. The sweet peas were all handmade from petal paste. They are my mum's favourite flower so, as you may guess, this was her birthday cake shared by The Stables Pantry (Hereford).

Here is my big Spring naked cake! This was made for my Dad and Sister's joint Birthday parties last Summer! The sponge is lemon flavoured with a raspberry buttercream & jam filling! Covered in lots of lovely fresh berries! Love Saskia Bakes

These are some nice spring cupcakes which I made for mothers day. I made these using Katy Sue heart letters and pearl mould and I also used the fab Blossom Sugar Art daisy and butterfly cutters. I used Sugarflair colours, Tangerine, Peach, Gooseberry and Primrose, shared by Sarah Redbush's Cakey Bakeys.
