Fondant Angel Tutorial

If you are planning on a Sea Cake or Ariel Cake and would like to decorate your cake with corals, see below a fondant sea coral tutorial step by step.

Photography Tutorial Step by Step

Ingredients & Tools

  • Colored Fondant
  • Fondant Roller
  • Different size circle cutters
  • Shaper

Tutorial Step by Step

  1. Start by rolling your piece of fondant to a 1.5 mm to 2 mm thickness (you don't want it paper thin so it does not break at the edges).
  2. Use your large circle cutters to cut edges of fondant as pictured (you can use 2 different sizes here to make it more realistic).
  3. Then use the smaller round cutters (or plungers) to make holes.
  4. Place it on any shaper that has a curvature, if you don't have one like in the picture, just use an empty paper towel roll.
